Marking Indicator Safety Solutions
Safe-T-First™
features revolutionary PermaLight® technology that provides
low-location illuminated egress pathways and access marking indicators
to help guide building occupants to safety during blackout situations.
Safe-T-First
illuminated flooring system is complemented by a family of PermaLight
photoluminescent solutions of signage, paints and marking indicators.
These items may be used individually or with Johnsonite flooring
solutions as a complete system, depending on your application requirements.
Johnsonite photoluminescent paint, tapes and marking indicators
allow you to highlight doorways and other access areas, such as
electrical and facility utility areas, that must be reached during
sudden power losses. Photoluminescent markings can be used to meet
requirements where egress routing or location finding is a must.
Safe-T-First
enables you to integrate design requirements with life-safety in
one complete system.
All
products feature PermaLight Photoluminescent Technology
Paints
- PermaLight photoluminescent paints available in three formulations:
Acrylic for use on walls; Polyurethane for metal, plastic and in
industrial/chemical areas; and Epoxy for floors, especially bare
concrete and on metal.
Guidance
Strips - Available in 50' rolls, these 1" or 2" wide,
radius-edged strips may be used to hightlight doorways, electrical
and fire apparatus cabinets, as well as any other critical life-support
equipment.
Disks
- Enamel on aluminum, these disks are available in 2-3/8" and
4" diameter with or without threaded shank for attachment to
virtually any surface - for interior or exterior applications, such
as open-grate stair treads, floor surfaces or wall surfaces.
Marking
Tapes:
Plain
Tape - In 1", 2" or 4" widths by 25' or 50' lengths
to mark escape routes. Not to be used on floor surface material.
Safety
Walk Grit Self-Adhesive Strip - 2" x 31"; rough surface
for increased slip resistance.
Safety
Walk Grit Self-Adhesive Strip with Black Diagonal Pattern -
2" x 31"; rough surface for increased slip resistance.
Anti-Skid
Tape - 2" x 13' or 52' lengths; self-adhesive; textured
vinyl surface for increased slip resistance.
Warning
Tape with Black Diagonal Pattern - In 2" or 4" widths
by 13' or 26' lengths; to mark dangerous protrusions, obstacles,
overhead hazards and fire-fighting equipment.
Anti-Skid
Dots - 3-1/2" diameter each; in sheets of 4 or 12 dots;
self-adhesive; for use on floor or wall surfaces; with or without
green directional arrow.
Light
Switch Covers - 2" x 3" self-stick photoluminescent
switch plate markers that apply directly to existing switch plates
to indicate location of wall switches in darkness.
Epoxy
Casting Resin - 1 kg units; thick resin paste applied in one
layer; use with metal stencil to create arrows, numerals, etc.
Feature
Strip - A 1" wide, square-edged profile for use in floor-marking
applications.
Silicone
Caulking - Available in 10.5-ounce tubes, can be applied to
any regular or irregular slot or opening, such as around doorways,
at edges of stair treads, stringers, etc., to provide photoluminescent
outling.
