Photoluminescent Handrail Covers
Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as handrail covers shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRSTTM PHOTOLUMINESCENT HANDRAIL COVERS and be designated by style "PHC-XX" and shall have a nominal thickness of .125" (3.175mm) and a length of 12' (3.66m). The product shall be a semi-circular profile having a 3/4" (19mm) internal radius to adapt to standard steel 1-1/4" (3.175cm) and 1-1/2" (3.81cm) diameter exit stairwell handrail piping. The product shall contain a 3/4" (19mm) wide co-extruded strip of photoluminescent material centered on the radius of the profile. The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 3-1/2 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. For warranty to apply, use Johnsonite #945 Contact Bond Adhesive for installation. Photoluminescent Vinyl Feature Strips Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as vinyl feature strip shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRSTTM PHOTOLUMINESCENT VINYL FEATURE STRIP and shall be designated by style "PVFS". The product shall have nominal thickness of .125" (3.175mm) and a coiled length of 50 feet (15.24m). The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 3-1/2 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. For warranty to apply, use Johnsonite #970 Two-Part Epoxy Adhesive; Johnsonite #975 Two-Part Urethane Adhesive; or Johnsonite #915 Acrylic Adhesive for installation. |
