Photoluminescent Visually - Impaired Rubber
Stair Treads Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as rubber stair treads shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRST PHOTOLUMINESCENT VISUALLY IMPAIRED RUBBER STAIR TREADS and be designated by style ________ (specify PVIG, PVISG, PVISA, PVIS or PVIC) and shall have nominal thickness _______ [specify .1875" (4.76mm) or .250" (6.35mm)]. They shall have a ________ (specify square or round) nosing. The square nosing shall have a depth of _____ [specify 1-5/8" (4.13cm) or 1-7/8" (4.76)] and the round nosing shall have a diameter of _______ [specify 1-35/64" (3.93cm) or 1-5/16" (3.33cm)]. The tread shall have a depth of _______ [specify 12-1/4" (31.12cm) or 13-1/4" (33.66cm)], and a length of _______ [specify 3' (0.91m), 3.5' (1.07m), 4' (1.22m), 4.5' (1.37m), 5' (1.52m), or 6' (1.83m)]. All treads shall have a continuous 2" (5.1cm) wide band of photoluminescent anti-skid tape inserted in the nose. The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 5 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. The color shall be _________ (specify by number and name). For warranty to apply, treads shall be installed with Johnsonite #915 Solvent-Free, Environmentally Safe, Acrylic Adhesive and use Johnsonite 930 Epoxy Caulking Compound in the nose. All treads conform to Federal Specification RR-T-650d, Composition A, Type 2. |
