Photoluminescent Rubber Wall Base Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as rubber cove base or wall base shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRST™ PHOTOLUMINESCENT RUBBER WALL BASE and shall be designated as PDC-XX. It shall be constructed of first-quality materials and shall be smooth and free from any imperfections which would detract from its appearance. All photoluminescent rubber wall base shall have a continuous 3/4" (19mm) wide band of photoluminescent material co-extruded into the wall base. The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 3-1/2 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. The photoluminescent rubber wall base shall have a height of 4" (10.16cm) with toe and a length of _______ [specify 4' (1.22m) or 120' (36.58m)] in 1/8" (3.175mm) gauge and color _________ (specify by color number and name). Johnsonite Safe-T-First photoluminescent preformed rubber inside and outside corners with 2-1/2" (6.35cm) returns shall be used. Johnsonite Safe-T-First Photoluminescent Rubber Wall Base meets all the performance requirements of Federal Specification #SS-W-40a Type I. For warranty to apply, use Johnsonite #960 Acrylic Cove Base Adhesive or #990 Solvent-Free Environmentally Safe White Acrylic Cove Base Adhesive for installation. |
