Photoluminescent Vinyl Stair Nosings Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as vinyl stair nosings shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRST™ PHOTOLUMINESCENT VISUALLY - IMPAIRED VINYL STAIR NOSINGS and be designated by style ________ (specify PVIRCN-XX-A, PVIRCN-XX-B or PVIVCD-XX). All photoluminescent stair nosings shall have a square nose 2" (5.1cm) in length and the underside hinged to accommodate various ADA-recommended stair pan angles. All photoluminescent stair nosings shall have a continuous 2" (5.1cm) wide band of photoluminescent material co-extruded into the nosing. The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 3-1/2 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. The photoluminescent stair nosings shall have length of 12' (3.66m). The color shall be ________ (specify by number and name). For warranty to apply, stair nosings shall be installed with Johnsonite #915 Solvent-Free, Environmentally Safe, Acrylic Adhesive and use Johnsonite 930 Epoxy Caulking Compound in the nose. All nosings conform to the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-T-650d, Composition B. |
