Photoluminescent Visually Impaired Vinyl
Stair Treads Flooring accessories as shown in the finish schedule or listed herein as vinyl stair treads shall be JOHNSONITE® SAFE-T-FIRST PHOTOLUMINESCENT VISUALLY-IMPAIRED VINYL STAIR TREADS and be designated by style ________ (specify PVIVG, PVIHT, or PVIHD). The PVIVG and PVIHD shall have a square nosing and the nose shall have a depth of 2" (5.0cm) and the underside hinged to accommodate various ADA-recommended stair pan angles. The PVIHT shall have a ____ [specify 2" (5.0cm) hinged, square nose or 1-5/8" (4.13cm) round nose]. The PVIVG and PVIHT shall have a continuous 2" (5.0cm) wide band of photoluminescent anti-skid tape, and the PVIHD shall have a continuous 2" (5.0cm) wide band and nose edge accent stripe of photoluminescent material co-extruded into the stair tread. The photoluminescent material shall have a photometric value of not less than 3-1/2 hours when tested in accordance with DIN Specification #67510-1. The stair treads shall have a depth of 12-1/4" (31.12cm) and a length of _______ [specify 3' (0.91m), 3.5' (1.07m), 4' (1.22m), 6' (1.83m), 8' (2.44m) or 12' (3.66m)]. The color shall be _________ (specify by number and name). For warranty to apply, treads shall be installed with Johnsonite #915 Solvent-Free, Environmentally Safe, Acrylic Adhesive, and use Johnsonite 930 Epoxy Caulking Compound in the nose. All treads conform to Federal Specification RR-T-650d, Composition B, Type 2. |
