Installation Instructions
1. Measure width of step on which stair nosing is to be installed and transfer that measurement to stair nosing. 2. Using a sharp utility knife, cut width of stair nosing to that dimension. 3. Before removing protective paper from adhesive strip, lay stair nosing on step to determine if nosing fits step correctly. Make any final cutting adjustments at this time. 4. Make certain that all dust, dirt, grease, loose or peeling paint, etc. has been removed from step prior to adhering nosing to step surface. 5. Remove protective paper from adhesive strip nosing after it has been correctly positioned. 6. CAUTION: Adhesive sticks on contact. DO NOT touch underside of stair nosing to step until stair nosing has been correctly positioned. Once stair nosing touches step, repositioning of stair nosing will NOT be possible. 7. If carpeting is being used to cover surface of the steps, remove the carpeting in areas where the stair nosing is to be installed. Do not install stair nosing on top of carpeting. 8. Once stair nosing has been correctly positioned, press down firmly to adhere stair nosing to step surface. 9. Rub entire surface of stair nosing firmly with clean, dry cloth or wallpaper seam roller to ensure uniform contact of adhesive to step surface. Care & Maintenance Damp mop or wipe with a moist sponge, using a solution of a neutral detergent and warm water. Rinse and allow to dry. Apply one coat of acrylic floor wax to photoluminescent strip occasionally to ease maintenance.
