Installation Instructions
1. Measure width of step on which stair tread is to be installed and transfer that measurement to stair tread. 2. Using a sharp utility knife, cut width of stair tread to that dimension. 3. Measure depth of step on which stair tread is to be installed and transfer that measurement to the stair tread 4. Using a sharp utility knife, cut depth of stair tread to that dimension. 5. Before removing protective paper from adhesive strip, lay stair tread on the step to determine if tread fits step correctly. Make any final cutting adjustments at this time. 6. Make certain that all dust, dirt, grease, loose or peeling paint, etc. has been removed from step prior to adhering. 7. CAUTION: Adhesive sticks on contact. DO NOT touch underside of stair tread to step until stair tread has been correctly positioned. Once the stair tread touches step, repositioning of stair tread will NOT be possible. 8. Remove protective paper from adhesive strip on underside of stair tread. 9. After stair tread has been correctly positioned by holding it above surface of step, press down firmly to adhere stair tread to step surface. 10. Rub entire surface of stair tread firmly with clean, dry cloth or wallpaper seam roller to ensure uniform contact of adhesive to step surface.
Care & Maintenance Damp mop or wipe with a moist sponge, using a solution of a neutral detergent and warm water. Rinse and allow to dry. Apply one coat of acrylic floor wax to photoluminescent strip occasionally to ease maintenance.
